The walk is approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) and takes about 45-60 minutes, offering scenic views of the bay. Note that the causeway is flat and exposed, so be prepared for varying weather conditions. There are no costs associated with walking the causeway.

From Le Bas Pays, take the free shuttle bus (navette) that runs regularly to Mont Saint-Michel. The shuttle departs from the designated stop near the visitor center and drops you off close to the entrance of the Mont. The ride takes about 12 minutes. This service is free of charge.
