Getting There

  • Car

    From Chamonix-Mont Blanc, head east on N205 towards the A40 motorway. Merge onto A40 and continue for about 30 km. Take exit 18 for Cluses/Morzine, then follow signs for D902 towards Morzine. Continue on D902 until you reach Morzine. Once in Morzine, follow the signs to Avoriaz. You will need to park your car in one of the designated parking areas in Morzine, as Avoriaz is a car-free resort. Expect parking fees around €15-€30 per day depending on the season.

  • Public Transportation

    From Chamonix-Mont Blanc, take the train from Chamonix to Cluses. This journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From Cluses, transfer to a bus heading to Morzine (check the local bus schedules for times). Upon arriving in Morzine, take the 'Prodains' cable car which will take you directly to Avoriaz. The cable car costs around €10 for a round trip. The total travel time by public transport will be approximately 2.5 hours.
