Car
If you are driving from central Chamonix, head southwest on Rue de la Poste toward Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi. Continue onto Route Blanche/D1506. After about 2 km, take the exit toward Argentière. Follow the signs for Argentière and continue on the D1506 for approximately 8 km. You will see signs for Les Grands Montets. Turn left onto Chemin de la Glacière, and continue straight until you reach Les Grands Montets at 66 Chem. de la Glacière, 74400 Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. There is paid parking available near the base of the cable car station.

From the Chamonix train station, take the Mont Blanc Express train towards Vallorcine. Get off at Argentière station (about a 20-minute ride). From Argentière, you can take the local bus (Line 2) towards Les Granges. Get off at the Les Granges stop, which is close to Les Grands Montets. The bus fare is approximately €2.50, and tickets can be purchased on the bus.
