Walking
From the center of Corte, such as Place Paoli, the Corsica Museum is located within the Citadel, a prominent landmark visible throughout the town. Follow the signs directing you towards the Citadel. The walk involves a gradual uphill climb through the old town's narrow streets. Allow approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the museum entrance from Place Paoli. Note that the route involves some steps and uneven surfaces.
Public Transport
Corte's train station is located at the bottom of the hill near the university. From the station, you can either walk to the Citadel (approximately 25-30 minutes uphill) or take a local bus. Check local bus schedules for routes that service the Citadel area. Bus fares are typically around €2.
Driving
If driving, follow signs to Corte and then to the Citadel. Limited parking is available near the Citadel. Consider using the Tuffelli parking area and walking the remaining distance. Parking fees at Tuffelli are approximately €1.50 per hour. Be aware that traffic can be congested during peak season.
