Car
If you are driving, start your journey from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Head east on Route Blanche (D1506) towards the Mont Blanc Tunnel. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the tunnel entrance. Take the Mont Blanc Tunnel, which will lead you directly into Italy. Once you exit the tunnel, follow the signs for Courmayeur (approximately 5 kilometers). As you enter Courmayeur, you will see signs for parking areas where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
To reach Courmayeur via public transport, start from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Go to the Chamonix bus station and take the FlixBus or the SAT bus service to Courmayeur. The bus ride takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. The buses run regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive at the Courmayeur bus station, you are in the town center. From there, you can easily walk to various attractions or find local taxis if you need further transportation.
