Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    Begin your journey at the Grenoble tram station, 'Gare Grenoble.' From there, take Tram Line A towards 'La Bruyère.' Stay on the tram for 9 stops, approximately 20 minutes. Get off at 'Chavant' station. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Bastille mountain. Follow the signs to the 'Téléphérique,' which is the cable car station leading up to the Fort de la Bastille. Take the cable car up, and upon reaching the top, follow the signs to the Musée des troupes de montagne, which is located within the Fort. The museum is a short walk from the cable car exit.
