Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can access La Défense de Paris - Barrias via the A14 motorway. From the center of Paris, head west on the A13 and take the A14 exit toward La Défense. Follow the signs for La Défense and merge onto Boulevard de la Défense. Look for parking options nearby, such as the Les Quatre Temps shopping center, which offers public parking. Be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around €2.50 per hour.

• Metro and Tram

  If you prefer public transportation, take the Paris Metro Line 1 towards La Défense. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes from central Paris. Once you arrive at La Défense station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Grande Arche. From there, you can either walk to La Défense de Paris - Barrias, which is approximately a 10-minute walk, or you can catch Tram Line T2 from the La Défense tram stop towards La Défense - Esplanade. The tram ride will cost around €1.90.

• RER Train

  Another option is to take the RER Line A from central Paris (Gare de Lyon, Châtelet-Les Halles, or Auber stations) towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye or Poissy. Alight at La Défense station. After exiting the RER, follow the directions to the Grande Arche and then proceed on foot to La Défense de Paris - Barrias, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station.   You can also access La Défense by bus. Look for bus lines 73, 92, or 141 which connect various parts of the city to La Défense. Depending on your starting point, the fare for the bus will be around €1.90, and the journey duration may vary based on traffic.
