Walking
Start at the central point of La Rochelle, Place de Verdun. From there, head west along Rue des Merciers. Continue straight as this street transforms into Rue de la Chaîne. You'll pass by several shops and cafes, so feel free to explore. As you reach the harbor, you'll see the iconic Towers of La Rochelle (Les Tours de La Rochelle) in front of you. Keep walking toward the harbor until you reach the Rue de la Fountaine. Turn left here and continue walking along the water's edge, and you will eventually arrive at the marina area.
Bicycle
Begin at Place de Verdun and rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops. Head towards the harbor area, following the pedestrian path. Cycle along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the views of the harbor and the towers. Continue along the path until you reach the marina. Once there, look for the signs pointing towards 'Feu du môle Nord' which is located at the northern mole (môle).
Public Transport
From the central bus station in La Rochelle (Gare Routière), take Bus Line 3 towards 'Les Minimes'. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and alight at the 'Môle d'Oléron' stop. From there, walk towards the harbor, and you will see signage directing you to 'Feu du môle Nord'. It's a short walk from the bus stop.
