Walking
If you are starting from the Vieux Port (Old Port) area, head east along Quai Louis Prunier. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Corderie. Turn right onto Rue de la Corderie, then keep walking until you reach Place du Commandant de la Motte Rouge. La Grande Roue de La Rochelle will be directly in front of you. The walk should take about 15 minutes.

From the La Rochelle train station, take bus line 3 towards 'Les Minimes'. Get off at the stop 'Place de Verdun'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk. Head south on Rue de Verdun, turn left onto Rue de la Corderie, and finally turn right onto Place du Commandant de la Motte Rouge where La Grande Roue de La Rochelle is located.
