From the central area of La Rochelle, start at Place de la Bourse. Head south on Rue de la Bourse towards Rue du Palais. Continue straight to reach Rue des Merciers. Turn right onto Rue des Merciers and walk until you reach the Place de Verdun. From there, head towards Rue de la Chaîne and turn left onto Rue de la Chaîne. Follow this street until you reach the Place de la Liberté. At the Place de la Liberté, continue straight onto Avenue de la République. Keep walking straight until you reach Rue de la Fraternité. Take a left onto Rue de la Fraternité, then follow the signs leading to the Parc de la République. Once you reach the park, you can find pathways leading to Marais de Tasdon. Look for the entrance signs for the wetlands area.

From La Rochelle train station, take bus line 3 towards 'Les Minimes - Plage'. Get off at the 'Marais de Tasdon' bus stop. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. After getting off the bus, walk south along the road and follow the signs to the entrance of Marais de Tasdon, which is just a short distance away.
