If you are starting from the central area of La Rochelle, head towards Place de la République. From here, take Rue de la République heading southwest until you reach Avenue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Rochelle. Turn left onto Avenue de la Rochelle and follow it until you reach the Parc Animalier, located at Place du 8 Mai. The walk should take about 25 minutes.
