Then, take a train from Lille Flandres to the nearest station to Mesen, which is 'Mesen' station. This journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Mesen station, exit the station and walk along Armentierssteenweg for about 15 minutes to reach the Island of Ireland Peace Park.

If you are starting from the Grand Place in Lille, walk towards the Lille Flandres train station which is about a 10-minute walk. From there, take a train to Mesen and follow the previous guidance from the station to the park.
