Walking
From the central square of Tournai, head southeast on Rue de la République towards Rue des Carmes. Continue straight onto Rue de l'Ingénieur until you reach Place Paul Emile Janson. Turn left onto Rue de la Station and walk until you reach the Tournai train station. Once at the station, take the train towards Comines. After a 15-minute journey, get off at Comines station. From the station, head north on Avenue de la Gare, continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will find the Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing on your left, just before reaching the village of Ploegsteert.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Tournai Cathedral and head northeast on Rue des Carmes. Follow the cycle path along the river Scheldt, which will lead you out of Tournai. Continue pedaling towards Comines, following the signs for the cycling route. Once you arrive in Comines, navigate to Avenue de la Gare and head north. After about 1 kilometer, you'll see the Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing on your left before reaching Ploegsteert.

While in Tournai, go to the bus station located near the train station. Look for bus routes heading towards Comines. Board the bus that goes directly to Comines. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Comines, disembark at the main bus stop and walk north along Avenue de la Gare for about 1 kilometer. The Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing will be on your left before you reach the village center.
