Walking
The Chapelle de la Flagellation is located within the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. From the main entrance of the Sanctuary near the Information Center, walk towards the Grotto of Massabielle. The chapel is situated to the side of the main esplanade, a short walk from the Grotto. Follow the signs within the Sanctuary directing you towards the various chapels. The walk is generally flat and easily accessible.
Public Transport
If arriving by train at Lourdes train station, take the bus line L5 towards 'Saint Joseph / Grotte'. The bus will drop you off near the Saint Joseph entrance of the Sanctuary. From there, follow the walking directions to reach the Chapelle de la Flagellation. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.50.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Lourdes city center to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes will cost approximately €9-€12. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Saint Joseph entrance, which is closest to the main esplanade and the Grotto. From there, it's a short walk to the Chapelle de la Flagellation.
Driving
If driving, parking is available near the Sanctuary. Free parking is available at Boulevard de la Grotte and Place Capdevielle, though these can be crowded. Paid parking is available at Place Peyramale, which is a short walk to the Sanctuary entrance. Paid parking rates vary, but expect to pay around €2-€3 per hour. From the parking area, follow the pedestrian signs to the Sanctuary and the Chapelle de la Flagellation.
