If you are near a metro station, take Line B (the blue line) towards 'Jean Macé'. Change at 'Saxe-Gambetta' station to Line D (the green line) towards 'Gare de Vaise'. Get off at 'Bellecour' station. From there, exit the station and head towards the Rhône River. Walk south along the riverbank for about 10 minutes until you reach the Pont de l'Hôpital bridge. Cross the bridge, and then turn left onto the street leading to Place de l'Hôpital. The Véritable Théâtre Guignol du Grand Hôtel-Dieu is located at 1 Place de l'Hôpital, right near the hospital.

If you are near a tram stop, take Tram T1 towards 'IUT - Feyssine'. Transfer at 'Bellecour' tram station and walk towards the Rhône River. The theater is located at 1 Place de l'Hôpital.
