Metro
If you are near the city center, take Metro Line A (the red line) from either Hôtel de Ville or Bellecour station. Travel towards Perrache and get off at the 'Vieux Lyon' stop. From there, exit the station and follow signs towards Rue du Boeuf. Walk straight until you reach the riverbank, then turn left to walk along the Saône River. After a few minutes, you will see the iconic Place du Gouvernement on your right.
Tram
You can take the Tram T1 from the 'Part-Dieu' station. Board the tram heading towards 'Debourg'. Get off at 'Perrache' station. From Perrache, head towards the river and cross the bridge to the right. Continue walking along the riverbank until you reach Place du Gouvernement, which will be on your left.
Bus
Take Bus Line C1 from 'Gare Saint-Paul' towards 'Gare de Vaise'. Get off at 'Place des Terreaux'. From there, walk down Rue de la République towards the river. Turn right onto Quai Saint-Antoine and continue walking along the river until you reach Place du Gouvernement, which will be directly ahead.
Walking
If you are already in the Vieux Lyon area, you can easily walk to Place du Gouvernement. Start at the 'Saint Jean Cathedral' and head north towards Rue du Bœuf. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank. From there, turn left and walk along the river for about 10 minutes. Place du Gouvernement will be on your right side.
