Getting There

Walking
If you are already in Vieux Lyon, you can easily reach Palais Saint-Jean by walking. Head towards the Saône River, which you should be able to see from most points in the neighborhood. Follow the riverbank heading south until you reach the Pont Bonaparte, a bridge that crosses the river. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Rue de la Platière. Turn right onto Rue de la Platière, then left onto Avenue Adolphe Max. Palais Saint-Jean will be on your left at number 3.

Public Transport
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take the Metro Line D from the Vieux Lyon - Cathédrale Saint-Jean station. Board the train heading towards Gare de Vaise and travel for one stop to the next station, Bellecour. From Bellecour, transfer to Metro Line A towards Perrache and travel one stop to the station at Ampère - Victor Hugo. From there, exit the station and walk north towards the Saône River. Walk along the river towards the east until you reach Palais Saint-Jean. The total cost for a single ticket is approximately €1.90.
