Walking
If you are in the heart of Vieux Lyon, head east towards Rue du Bœuf. Walk along Rue du Bœuf until you reach the intersection with Rue des Trois Maries. Turn left onto Rue des Trois Maries and continue straight until you reach the Place Saint-Jean. From there, you can see the beautiful Lyon Cathedral. Walk past the cathedral and take the stairs leading up to the higher ground. Continue straight ahead, and you will find Jardin Archéologique located at 5 Rue des Estrées. The entrance is near the main archaeological site.

Public Transport (Metro)
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take Metro Line D from the Vieux Lyon station. Board the train towards Gare de Vaise. Travel for one stop and get off at the 'Bellecour' station. From Bellecour, exit the metro station and walk towards Rue de la République. Walk straight along Rue de la République until you reach Rue des Estrées. The Jardin Archéologique is located at 5 Rue des Estrées, and the entrance is just a short walk from the metro exit. Note that a single metro ticket costs around €1.90.

Another option is to take Tram Line T1. You can catch the tram at the stop 'Lyon Saint-Paul'. Board the tram towards 'Debourg'. Travel for three stops and get off at 'Place Jean Jaurès'. From there, walk towards Rue des Estrées where you will find the Jardin Archéologique at 5 Rue des Estrées. The tram ticket price is also approximately €1.90.
