Public Transport
If you are starting from the Marseille Saint-Charles train station, exit the station and head towards the Metro Line 1 (the blue line). Take the metro towards La Fourragère and get off at the Vieux-Port station. From Vieux-Port, you can either walk to the Basilica or take the bus. If you choose to walk, head towards the waterfront and follow the Quai des Belges until you reach the Place aux Huiles. From there, follow the Rue de la République up to the Rue Fort du Sanctuaire.
