If you're near the Palais des Congrès, head south towards the waterfront. Walk along the Rue de la République until you reach the Vieux Port. From there, follow the waterfront promenade, keeping the water on your left. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you'll arrive at the Citadelle de Marseille (Fort Saint-Nicolas) located at Mnt du Souvenir Français, which will be visible on your right as you approach the harbor.
