Driving
From Courchevel 1850, follow the Route de l'Altiport towards the Courchevel Altiport. Continue along this road, following signs for Col de la Loze. The road eventually leads to the start of the dedicated cycling path (Montée de la Loze). Parking is available at the Altiport, from which you can access the Col de la Loze by foot or bicycle. Parking is free. Be aware that traffic restrictions may be in place during peak season or special events. During the Tour de France, parking is prohibited on the Route de l’Altiport, from the intersection of the Méribel school complex and the Route de l’Agentila, to the intersection with the Route du Belvédère; along the Route du Belvédère as far as the entrance to the Col de la Loze greenway.
Public Transport
From Méribel, take the free bus to La Tania. From La Tania, take the cable car first and then the Dou des Lanches chairlift to the top of the pass. From there, a breathtaking view will open up before your eyes. A pedestrian pass is required to access the starting point. Check local bus schedules for up-to-date information. The Olympe gondola (1, 2 and 3) will be open from 9.30am to 5.30pm for a fee; The Pas du Lac and Tougnète 1 and 2 gondolas will be open as usual with a charge; Return to the Belleville valley via Tougnète until 4.30pm.
Walking
From Courchevel Altiport, follow the well-marked hiking trails towards Col de la Loze. The path winds along the ridge between Les Allues and Saint Bon (Courchevel). The hike is strenuous and takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach the summit. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and clothing for mountain conditions. The hike is not accessible by wheelchair.
