Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Cahors, take the D811 road heading northeast towards Figeac. Continue on D811 for about 30 km until you reach the junction with D19. Turn right onto D19 and follow the signs for Cabrerets. After approximately 16 km, you will arrive in Cabrerets. Follow the signs to Pech Merle, which is located just outside the village, about 2 km from the center.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a train from Toulouse to Cahors. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Cahors, you can take a regional bus (Ligne 22) towards Figeac. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may not be frequent. The bus will take you to Cabrerets. Once you arrive in Cabrerets, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi to Pech Merle, which is about 2 km away.
