Getting There

Walking
Start at the Comédie Square, which is a central hub in Montpellier. From the square, head towards the Place de la Comédie exit. Walk straight down Avenue du Président François Mitterrand for about 300 meters. You will pass by various shops and cafés. Continue until you reach the roundabout with the fountain. Take the first exit onto Rue de la Loge, a pedestrian street lined with shops. Follow Rue de la Loge for about 200 meters. You will see a small alley on your left called Rue Pétrarque. Turn left onto Rue Pétrarque, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Musée du Vieux Montpellier, located at 2 Pl. Pétrarque.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch Tram Line 1 from the Comédie tram stop. Board the tram towards Odysseum. You will travel for just one stop and disembark at the Place de l'Europe. From there, it is a short walk. Exit the tram stop and head towards Rue de la Loge. Walk down Rue de la Loge for approximately 300 meters, then turn left onto Rue Pétrarque. The museum will be on your right at 2 Pl. Pétrarque. Note that tickets for the tram cost around €1.60.
