If you are starting from the Nancy train station (Gare de Nancy), exit the station and head southeast on Rue du Général Leclerc toward Rue des Carmes. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach Place Stanislas, a large, beautiful square. From Place Stanislas, exit through the archway on the south side, leading you to Rue de la Primatiale. Walk straight on Rue de la Primatiale for approximately 300 meters, and then take a left onto Rue de la République. After about 150 meters, you will find yourself at Alliance Square (Place d'Alliance) on your right. The square is a lovely cultural landmark and is perfect for a leisurely stroll.

From the Nancy train station (Gare de Nancy), walk to the tram stop located just outside the station. Take tram line 1 in the direction of 'Hôpital Central.' Stay on the tram for about 6 stops and get off at 'Place Stanislas.' Once you arrive at Place Stanislas, walk south through the archway and continue straight onto Rue de la Primatiale. Take a left onto Rue de la République after 300 meters, and after another 150 meters, you will arrive at Alliance Square (Place d'Alliance) on your right.
