From the Graslin area, start at the Graslin Theatre, which is a central landmark. Head north on Rue de la Fosse until you reach Place Royale. From there, continue straight onto Rue de la Paix, which will take you to the lively Place du Commerce. At Place du Commerce, turn left onto Quai de la Fosse. Keep walking along the river until you reach the Pont Morand bridge. Cross the bridge, and as you come down, the Monument de Charles de Gaulle will be directly in front of you at Place du Pont Morand.
