Walking
If you are starting from the Nice Ville train station, exit the station and head southwest on Avenue Thiers toward Avenue Jean Médecin. Continue walking straight until you reach Avenue Jean Médecin, then turn left. Walk along Avenue Jean Médecin until you reach Place Masséna, which is a large square known for its beautiful architecture. From Place Masséna, take the Rue de l'Opéra, which will lead you directly to the Old Town (Vieux Nice). Continue on this street until you reach the Vieille Ville. When you enter the Old Town, follow the signs toward Place Rossetti, which is located at the heart of the Old Town. Public Transport (Tram)
From Nice Ville train station, walk to the tram stop called 'Thiers / Gare SNCF'. Board Tram Line 1 in the direction of 'Hôpital Pasteur'. Get off at the 'Masséna' stop.
