Walking
If you're in the center of Nîmes, start at the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Exit the station and head northwest on Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach Place d'Assas, a large square with a fountain. From there, take Boulevard de la Liberté, heading west. After about 1 km, you'll reach Rue de la République again. Turn left and continue walking for about 2 km until you see the signs for Arles. Follow the road signs; you'll be on D570 which will lead you directly to Pont de Trinquetaille. As you approach Arles, continue straight until you reach the bridge.
Bus
From Nîmes city center, head to the bus station located near the train station. Take the bus line 8 towards Arles. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Arles bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the river. You should see signs directing you to Pont de Trinquetaille, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the path along the river, and you will see the bridge ahead.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nîmes, then head towards Avenue de la République. Follow this avenue until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto D570, which leads directly to Arles. Enjoy the ride along the scenic route, which will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Arles, look for signs to Pont de Trinquetaille, which is located near the river.
