Metro
If you're starting from the Eiffel Tower, walk to the Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel station. Take Metro Line 6 towards Charles de Gaulle - Étoile and transfer at the Trocadéro station. Then, switch to Line 9 towards Mairie de Montreuil. Get off at the République station and transfer to Line 3 towards Gallieni. Get off at the Opéra station and transfer to Line 7 towards La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945. Get off at the Place Monge station. From there, walk east on Rue de la Butte aux Cailles, then turn left onto Rue de la Sorbonne, and you will arrive at the Sorbonne.

From the Louvre Museum, walk to the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre bus stop. Take Bus 21 towards Gare Saint-Lazare. Get off at the Sorbonne stop, which is a 5-minute walk from the Sorbonne. After disembarking, walk east on Rue de la Sorbonne, and you will see the university ahead.

If you are near the Notre-Dame Cathedral, start by walking east along the Seine River towards Pont Saint-Michel. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight until you reach Rue Saint-Jacques. Turn right onto Rue Saint-Jacques and walk straight until you reach Rue de la Sorbonne. Turn left and you will arrive at the Sorbonne.
