Getting There

Walking
From Vieux Nice (Old Town), follow the signs towards Colline du Château. You can ascend via the Escalier Lesage (approximately 300 steps) for a direct, albeit strenuous, route. Alternatively, take the Montée du Château or Montée Eberlé for a less steep but longer walk. All routes lead to the park entrance at the top. No costs involved.

Public Transport
Take tram line 2 to the Garibaldi/Le Château stop, which is the closest tram stop to Colline du Château. From there, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the base of the hill. Alternatively, several bus lines (10, 12+, 57, 600, 98) stop near the Colline du Château overlook. A single fare on the tram or bus is €1.50.

Elevator
From the Quai des États-Unis, locate the discreet entrance to the free elevator, marked by orange brick arches. The elevator will take you directly to the upper part of the park. The elevator is free.

Taxi/Ride-share
From Nice city center, a taxi or ride-share to the base of Colline du Château will cost approximately €11-€14 and take about 5 minutes. Specify that you want to be dropped off at the entrance of the elevator or the base of the stairs leading up to the hill.
