Shaded by olive trees and mature plane trees, Place Villeneuve-Bargemon offers a pleasant environment for relaxation and public events. Its location, a stone's throw from the Vieux Port (Old Port), highlights Marseille's enduring connection to the sea. The square also offers stunning views of the Old Port and Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica.The site itself has a long history, with archaeological discoveries indicating human presence dating back to the Bronze Age.
