Driving
From the village of Gèdre, follow the signs for 'Barrage et lac des Gloriettes'. The road is narrow and steep in places, so drive carefully. The parking area is located at the end of the road, near the dam. Parking is free, but spaces are limited, especially during peak season. Note that the road is closed in winter.

Public Transport
The nearest train station is in Lourdes. From Lourdes, take the LIO bus (line 965) to Gavarnie-Gèdre. From Gavarnie-Gèdre, you will need to arrange for a taxi or local shuttle to take you the remaining 10 km to the Barrage des Gloriettes. Bus schedules may be infrequent, especially during off-peak seasons. Check the Moovit app for bus schedules and fares. Taxi fare from Gavarnie-Gèdre to the dam is approximately €20-€30.
