Walking
From the center of Auzat, follow the 'Unnamed Road' for approximately 2 kilometers towards Cascade de l'Artigue. The route is well-marked with signs, making it easy to navigate. The walk typically takes around 30-40 minutes, offering scenic views of the Pyrenees. No costs are associated with walking to the waterfall.
Public Transport
To reach Cascade de l'Artigue via public transport, take a train to Foix, the nearest major station. From Foix, catch local bus Line 10 to Auzat. Once in Auzat, walk approximately 2 kilometers to the waterfall, following the signs. The bus fare from Foix to Auzat typically costs around €2-€4. The walk from Auzat to the waterfall takes about 30-40 minutes.
Driving
From Toulouse, take the A66 or N20 south towards Foix. Continue on the D8 towards Vicdessos, then take the D66 to l'Artigue. A free parking area is available at the trailhead near the EDF power plant. Parking is free. Be aware that the parking can get crowded during peak season.
