Getting There

  • Walking

    From the city center of Rennes, start at Place de la République. Head south on Rue de la Monnaie toward Rue de la Visitation. Continue straight onto Rue de Rohan. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach Rue de l'Hotel de Ville. Turn left and walk towards the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall). From there, follow the signs for the Parc du Thabor, which is located nearby. As you exit the park, proceed to Rue de la Soif and continue until you hit the Canal d'Ille-et-Rance.

    From Rennes Gare (the main train station), take Metro Line A in the direction of La Poterie. Get off at the second stop, Charles de Gaulle. Once you exit the metro station, take the bus line 13 from the nearby bus stop (Charles de Gaulle). This bus will take you directly to the Canal d'Ille-et-Rance area. Alight at the stop named Canal d'Ille-et-Rance. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the canal.
