Getting There

Walking
Start at the central point of Saint-Malo, the Place de la République. Head southwest towards the Rue de la Cité. Continue along Rue de la Cité until you reach the ramparts. Follow the ramparts along the coastline, enjoying the views of the sea. Once you reach the Fort National, continue east until you come to the beach. Walk along the beach towards the east, and you will eventually see La Conchée Fort on Le Grand Bey island. During low tide, you can walk directly to the fort; just be sure to check the tidal schedule so you don’t get stranded.

From the Saint-Malo train station, take bus line 3 towards 'La Ville Es Murailles'. Get off at the 'Sillon' stop. From there, walk towards the beach and follow the coastline to the east. You will see the path leading to La Conchée Fort at low tide. Make sure to plan your visit according to the tide times, as the fort can be inaccessible during high tide.
