Walking
If you are starting from the Strasbourg Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg), exit the cathedral square and head southwest towards Place de la Cathédrale. Continue walking straight onto Rue des Orfèvres, which will lead you to Place Gutenberg. From there, turn left onto Rue du Dôme. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Quai des Bateliers. Turn right onto Quai des Bateliers and follow the river until you see Barrage Vauban on your left at Place du Qur Blanc.

From Strasbourg Central Station (Gare de Strasbourg), take tram line A (the red line) towards 'Illkirch - Lixenbuhl'. Get off at the stop 'Place de l'Étoile'. Once you exit the tram, head southeast towards Rue du Maire Kuss. Continue walking straight until you reach the river. Cross the bridge and continue walking along the riverbank (Quai des Bateliers) until you reach Barrage Vauban on your left at Place du Qur Blanc.
