Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of Petite France, head northeast on Rue des Moulins. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du Bain-aux-Plantes. Turn left onto Rue du Bain-aux-Plantes and follow it until you reach the canal. Cross the bridge over the canal, and as you continue straight, you will see the Tour des Français on your right. It will take around 10-15 minutes to walk from the center of Petite France.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you are further out in Petite France, you can take the tram for a quicker route. Head to the nearest tram stop, which could be 'Sainte-Madeleine' or 'Quai des Bateliers'. From there, board Tram Line A towards 'Hautepierre Maisons Rouges'. Get off at the 'Homme de Fer' stop. Transfer to Tram Line D towards 'Kehl' and get off at 'Langstross Grand' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk: head east on Rue de la Mésange, then turn left onto Rue des Francs Bourgeois, and finally right onto Rue de l'Île. Tour des Français will be a short walk ahead. Be aware that a single tram ticket costs approximately €1.70.
