Get off at the stop 'Baden-Baden, Geroldsau' and from there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Burg Alt-Eberstein. Follow the signs for the hiking trails leading to the castle.

From Strasbourg, take the FlixBus heading to Baden-Baden. The bus ride typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the central bus station in Baden-Baden, look for bus number 201 towards 'Baden-Baden, Geroldsau'. After about a 20-minute bus ride, disembark at 'Baden-Baden, Geroldsau'. The castle is a 15-minute hike from there, following the marked hiking paths.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Strasbourg and ride towards Baden-Baden. The route is approximately 50 kilometers and will take you through scenic countryside. Follow the cycle paths towards the border and continue towards Baden-Baden. Once you reach Baden-Baden, you can find signs directing you to Burg Alt-Eberstein, which is a few kilometers from the town center.
