From the Palace of Versailles, follow the marked paths through the gardens towards the Trianon Estate. The walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes, offering scenic views along the way. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the gardens are extensive. There is no cost for walking within the gardens if you already have a ticket to the Palace or the Estate of Trianon.

Public Transport
From Versailles, take the TRI bus, which stops in front of the Grand Trianon. The bus connects to the Versailles Rive Gauche and Versailles Rive Droite stations. The bus fare is approximately €2.10. Alternatively, a shuttle train is available from the main palace for a fee. Make sure you ask when the last shuttle will be picking people up from the Trianons, so you don't have to walk all the way back to the palace at the end of the day.
