From the Palace of Versailles, exit the palace grounds and head towards the main gate. Once you are through the gate, turn left onto Avenue de Paris. Continue walking straight for about 20 minutes until you reach the RER C train station, called 'Versailles Château Rive Gauche'. Board the train heading towards Paris. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Gare Saint-Lazare'. From there, find the Metro station and take Line 3 (the yellow line) towards 'Gallieni'. Transfer at the 'Opéra' station to Line 7 (the pink line) towards 'La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945'. Get off at the 'Louis Blanc' station. From there, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you arrive at 2B Imp. Girardon, where the Statue of Saint-Denis is located.
