Discover more about Garrick Yrondi | Art Studio & Gallery

The Garrick Yrondi Art Studio & Gallery offers a unique cultural experience in Bora Bora, showcasing the art of Garrick Yrondi, a local artist with a rich family history spanning four generations of artists. Born in Antibes, France, Yrondi moved to French Polynesia as a child, where the vibrant colors and enchanting charm of the islands awakened his artistic spirit. The gallery features a diverse collection of paintings and sculptures inspired by the Polynesian culture and the island's stunning natural surroundings. Yrondi's art reflects the deep blues of the ocean, the lush greens of the forests, and the vibrant marine life that characterizes Bora Bora. His works often incorporate natural materials such as plant fibers, shells, and volcanic stones, further connecting his art to the island's environment. Before establishing his studio on the main island, Yrondi lived on the small island of Haapiti Rai, where he was invited to stay by the famous explorer Paul Emile Victor. During this time, he created a monumental sculpture in pink marble, the "Vahine e'ia," which was placed at the exit of the Bora Bora airport, welcoming visitors to the island. Today, visitors can explore Yrondi's gallery and experience the beauty and culture of Bora Bora through his art.
