If you're traveling by car, begin your journey in Vaitape, the main town of Bora Bora. From Vaitape, head south on Route de Vaitape towards Anau. Continue straight on this road for approximately 12 kilometers (about 25 minutes). Once you reach the intersection near Anau, take the turn onto Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 5 minutes until you reach Mataorio Bay Point, which will be on your right. Parking may be limited, so be prepared to park along the road.

If you're using public transportation, take the local bus (Le Truck) from Vaitape. Look for the bus heading towards Anau. The bus fare is approximately 300 XPF (around $3 USD). After about 30 minutes, disembark at the Anau stop. From there, you’ll need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 20 minutes) to reach Mataorio Bay Point. Head south on Route de Vaitape, then take a right onto Unnamed Road where the bay point is located.
