Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Vaitape on Bora Bora. Head south on Route de Vaitape and follow the signs towards Matira Beach. Continue on this road for about 15 minutes, until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Route de Matira. Vavau Adventures is located just past Matira Beach. Look for the sign on your left. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Vaitape to Matira Beach. Buses typically run every hour and the fare is around 300 XPF (about 3 USD). Ask the driver to drop you off at Matira Beach. Once you get off, walk along the beach road for about 10 minutes. Vavau Adventures is located on your right, just past the beach. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
Walking
If you are already near Matira Beach, you can simply walk to Vavau Adventures. From Matira Beach, walk along the shore towards the south for about 15 minutes. Keep an eye out for Vavau Adventures on your right side. This is a great way to enjoy the stunning views of the beach and lagoon.
Bicycle
Another enjoyable way to reach Vavau Adventures is by renting a bicycle. Many hotels in Bora Bora offer bicycle rentals for around 1,500 XPF (about 15 USD) per day. From Vaitape, ride down Route de Vaitape towards Matira Beach, then take the left onto Route de Matira. It should take you about 30 minutes to bike there. Plenty of bike racks are available at Vavau Adventures.
