Getting There

Walking
If you are in the main village of Maharepa, head east towards the coast until you reach the main road, Route de la Plage. Turn left and walk along the coastline, enjoying the views of the lagoon. Continue walking for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route Pk 20, where you will see signs for Col des 3 Cocotiers. At this intersection, turn right and follow the road uphill for about 20 minutes until you reach the trailhead for Col des 3 Cocotiers. The trail starts here and is well-marked.

Bicycle
From the ferry terminal in Vaiare, you can rent a bicycle. Cycle along the main road, heading towards Maharepa. It’s about a 15-minute ride. Once in Maharepa, continue on Route de la Plage until you reach the intersection with Route Pk 20. Turn right and follow this road uphill for about 20 minutes. Look for the trailhead for Col des 3 Cocotiers on your left. Secure your bicycle at the trailhead before starting your hike.
