Walking
From Vaitape, the main town on Bora Bora, Popoti is accessible by walking. Head east, following the main road (Route de ceinture). The trailhead is located inland, so look for a smaller road or path leading uphill. As trails in Bora Bora are rarely signed, it's best to ask locals for directions. There are no entrance fees or tolls to access the trail.
Taxi
Taxis are available on Bora Bora, and can take you closer to the Popoti trailhead. Arrange a taxi from Vaitape. Agree on a fare before starting your journey, as fares can vary. A short taxi ride from Vaitape to a closer access point to Popoti would likely cost between 1,500 XPF and 2,500 XPF. From the drop-off point, follow the walking guidance to reach the summit.
