If you are in the central area of Papeete, start by heading towards the waterfront along Boulevard Pomare. Walk southwest, passing the Papeete Market on your left. Continue along Boulevard Pomare until you reach Rue Gaston Flosse. Turn left onto Rue Gaston Flosse and continue straight. After about 10 minutes, you will see the entrance to Pā'ōfa'i Gardens on your right. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes from the market.
Public Transport

From the central bus station in Papeete, take the bus that goes towards Paofai. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Pā'ōfa'i Gardens. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. After you get off, walk a short distance back towards the waterfront, and you will find the entrance to the gardens. The bus fare is typically around 200-300 XPF (approximately $2 - $3 USD).
