Local tips

  • Book your dives in advance, especially during peak season (June-August) and the grouper mating season (mid-June to early July), to secure your spot.
  • Consider bringing reef-safe sunscreen to protect the delicate coral reefs and marine life.
  • Pack light clothing, swimwear, and a reusable water bottle to stay comfortable and hydrated.
  • Bring enough cash, as ATMs can be unreliable on the atoll.
  • Check tide schedules for optimal diving conditions in the passes.
