These leave frequently from the central bus station in Sukhumi; the ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for Anacopia Fortress. The marshrutka fare is typically around 50-70 RUB. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to the base of the Iverian Mountain, where the trail to the fortress begins.
