Start your journey at the central square of Akhaltsikhe, near the Rabati Castle. From the square, head southwest along Erekle II Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Khashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale road. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Atskuri Fortress. As you approach, you may need to walk a short distance from the main road to reach the fortress, which is located on a hill overlooking the area.
