Getting There

Walking
Start at the main square of Akhaltsikhe, where the Rabati Fortress is located. From the fortress, head south on Givi Khergiani Street. Continue walking straight, passing by the local shops and cafes. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with the main road (E691). Cross the road carefully and continue straight on the path leading out of the city. You will start to see signs pointing towards Gurkeli. Follow the signs, and after approximately 2 km, you will arrive at the village of Gurkeli. Bieti Church is located just a short walk from the village center, approximately 500 meters up a small hill. Look for the church's distinctive architecture as you approach.

From the main bus station in Akhaltsikhe, take a minibus heading towards Gurkeli. The minibus will depart frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes.
