Start at the main square in Akhaltsikhe, which is a central point for tourists. From the square, head east on G. Tsulukidze Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tsereteli Street. Turn left onto Tsereteli Street. After a few blocks, you will encounter a bus station on your right. From here, look for minibus #1 or #2, which travels towards the village of Atskuri. Board the minibus, and inform the driver that you are going to Atskuri Fortress. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Atskuri village, follow the signs that lead up the hill to the fortress. The path is well-marked, and you will see the fortress rising above the village.

Begin at the Akhaltsikhe bus station, which is located near the central square. Purchase a ticket for a minibus heading to Atskuri (look for a sign indicating Atskuri). The minibus will depart when full, so be prepared for a short wait. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Atskuri stop, exit the minibus and look for a sign directing you to the fortress. Follow the marked path, which is a gradual ascent, and you will reach Atskuri Fortress in about 15-20 minutes of walking.
